Su obra se caracteriz\u00f3 por una particular mezcla entre elementos de m\u00fasica cl\u00e1sica y del folclore uruguayo, as\u00ed como latinoamericano. Se hizo famoso por sus canciones de protesta y por musicalizar letras y versos de Mario Benedetti y varios mas.<\/p>\n<p>Parti\u00f3 al exilio en 1973, hacia Argentina y regres\u00f3 solo en 1984, <a href=\"http:\/\/putaendouno.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/1135.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright  wp-image-22735\" src=\"http:\/\/putaendouno.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/1135.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"189\" height=\"189\" srcset=\"http:\/\/putaendouno.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/1135.jpg 250w, http:\/\/putaendouno.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/1135-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 189px) 100vw, 189px\" \/><\/a>cuando ya su pa\u00eds transitaba desde la dictadura de derecha de Juan Mar\u00eda Bordaberry hacia la democracia.<\/p>\n<div class=\"co_Noticia\">\n<p>Entre sus composiciones m\u00e1s conocidas est\u00e1n\u00a0<em>A desalambrar<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Canci\u00f3n para mi Am\u00e9rica<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Milonga de andar lejos<\/em>\u00a0y\u00a0<em>Gurisito<\/em>.
